Video Content Creator
Nathan Hof recently left his position at Infina as the the Video Lead Task Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration’s largest recurrent training program. Specifically, producing video and animation content and working with a team of controllers all over the U.S. to fit these educational lessons on a web-based platform.
In this role at Infina, he was responsible for the Web-based Recurrent Training Program. He produced fascinating educational content covering a variety of complicated subjects within the National Airspace System for training purposes.
Beyond interviewing specialists all over the country for documentary, or building animation re-enactment case studies, he was also tasked with producing, from concept to delivery, original creative content.
Web-based Recurrent Training
For over five years Nathan was one of Infina's video producers, responsible for the Web-based Recurrent Training (WBRT) program for Air Traffic Control in our National Airspace System. There are over 14,000 controllers that view his content twice a year. Each cycle lasts 6 months and consists of 5 courses per cycle. Each course is based specifically to an area of focus in air traffic control. These subjects stretch from Flight Check Procedures and Military Airspace Regulations to Parachute Operations and High Workload Phases of Flight.
Each subject has the potential to send him on another adventure across the United States conducting interviews, chasing stories, and building content for our courses. He works very closely with different air traffic controllers spread throughout the country, and with FAA officials in Washington D.C. for face-to-face discussions pitching creative concepts and gaining filming access in US restricted areas. It's incredibly exciting and is a wonderful experience to have a role in keeping our National Airspace System safe. Please enjoy some of his original creative content below.
